Release Notes — numgeo-GiD v2025.11
This version introduces several major enhancements and new features that expand the capabilities of the software for advanced finite element analysis.
New Features
Truss Elements
numgeo-GiD now extends its finite element library with truss elements!
For more information, see the following resources:

Mass Points
We have introduced mass points for dynamic analysis.
See the Reference Manual for more details.
Solid Rotations
Solid rotations are now included in this release.
This enhancement improves modeling of rotational effects in solid elements, expanding the scope of dynamic and nonlinear simulations.
You can find this feature under the Dirichlet boundary condition in steps.
For more information, see Solid Rotation.
Flexible Boundary Conditions
You can now define Dirichlet (essential) boundary conditions that change their status (value and active/inactive) with space and time within a calculation step.

Model Change
It is now possible to change material assignments mid-analysis!
For details, refer to:

- Theory Manual
Embedded Regions
A powerful new Embedded Region feature allows elements to be embedded into a host mesh.
